STEPHANIE SINCLAIRE
 

Stephanie Sinclaire is an artist who has exhibited internationally as well as curated exhibitions in London, America and New Zealand. She is also an author, stage & screenplay writer and director and producer for film and theatre.

Stephanie’s first film (Co-Producer) THE DANCE OF SHIVA was an Academy Award Finalist, 2000 and featured Kenneth Branagh with Academy Award winning cinematographer Jack Cardiff. She adapted, directed and produced THE TELLTALE HEART, based on Poe’s short story, with Jack Cardiff as DP, which premiered at The Art Institute of Chicago’s 7th European film festival. She wrote, directed and produced SILENCE BECOMES YOU (feature) with Alicia Silverstone, Joe Anderson and Sienna Guillory and wrote, co-directed and produced A MAVERICK IN LONDON, a documentary about Dan Crawford and The Kings Head Theatre, presented on Sky Arts and Channel Four featuring Joanna Lumley, Alan Rickman, Sir Tom Stoppard, Steven Berkoff and others.
 

Stephanie was Creative and Managing Director of the Kings Head Theatre from 2005-2014 and Associate Artistic Director for two decades previously. She has co-produced over 60 plays and musicals at the Kings Head and West End transfers, latterly directing and writing for theatre, including PARALLEL VISION (writer), DANCE WITH THE DEVIL (writer) and a children’s musical based on The Famous Five, SMUGGLERS GOLD (co-writer and lyricist).

She adapted, produced and directed DEAR BRUTUS, which began her love affair with JM BARRIE later directing her screenplay adaptation on stage renamed THE SHADOW MASTER. She adapted and directed PETER PAN, restoring Barrie’s original dark myth with the world stage premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s brilliant lost score.

Stephanie is the author of BURNT OFFERING (poetry) and THE SHORES OF GRACE republished as GOD’S THEORY OF CREATIVITY, which won the UK Prism Award and has been distributed to all the UK prisons through the Prism Project and the US women’s prisons through the Edgar Cayce Foundation and NZ prisons.

In 2002 she was co-recipient, with Dan Crawford, of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Award for the ‘contribution to the arts and pursuit of excellence’ in the field of direction for the Kings Head Theatre presented by Lord Attenborough and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

KATHERINE WYETH
 

Katherine Wyeth is an actor and singer with 25 years’ experience in theatre, TV and film: ranging from leads in musicals, to Shakespeare’s Juliet, classic drama: Joan of Arc, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, to comedy, children’s theatre & TV (Peter Pan/ Rose in The Demon Headmaster for the BBC) from London Fringe to London West End, Europe and New Zealand.

Katherine grew up at The Kings Head Theatre (born in a box as they say) and was treading the boards from an early age. She is also a published poet and artist. Since emigrating to NZ, Katherine has branched out into screenwriting and directing. Katherine is especially interested in the interface between visual and performing arts.

Katherine is also an Animal Science BSC Honours graduate and a massage & physical therapist who has been running her own practice for 15 years. Katherine is co-founder and co-director of Sea Star Creations, a film and production company, based in Wellington and has recently completed her directorial debut: short film GOBLIN MARKET, based on the epic allegorical 19th century poem by Christina Rossetti.
